Workshop on the implementation of a national campaign on Fatigue
It is our aim to run the fatigue campaign in every country across Europe because fatigue knows no borders. All healthcare workers have the same physiology and need the same resources and support to manage fatigue.
However, for ensuring the success of the campaign, the national and regional specificities in systems and cultures must be taken into account.
This workshop is designed to give national teams the keys and pre-designed tools for building a national campaign on fatigue, and develop an action plan using collective intelligence tools.
To facilitate the work a set of tools is being developed and will be reviewed during the workshop and adapted according to the feedback from the national teams.
Organisations concerned by patient safety and representing healthcare professionals, patients or academics wishing to implement the campaign in their country and disseminate the tools and resources widely in healthcare facilities.
Application to the workshop should be introduced collectively by several organisations from the same country as a "national team". Such a team consists of :
-
3 representatives from one country
-
representing at least 2 different organisations
-
one of the participant should be an active healthcare professional
The workshop will be run by Dr. Nancy Redfern and Dr. Emma Plunket who have been leading a Fight Fatigue national campaign in UK for five years and by Mirka Cikkelova and Stéphane Boulanger from the EUPSF team leading the work of the European Fighting Fatigue Together campaign.
